Tripura CM Launches “Amar Sarkar” Web Portal to Provide Benefits to Citizens

Agartala, 17th November 2022: Calling on people to develop a conception that the government of the state is ‘my government’, Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha said on Thursday that the government is constantly working to resolve the needs and various problems of ordinary people. .

During the inauguration of the official launch of the web portal “Amar Sarkar” at Muktadhara auditorium here in the city of Agartala, Chief Minister Dr. Saha said that the main leadership of the state government was to provide the benefits of central and state government people-oriented projects. to the people. This is possible thanks to technology. It is possible to reach people very easily through technology. The government wants there to be no gaps anywhere, so special emphasis has been placed on the use of technology.

Keeping this objective in mind, the web portal “Amar Sarkar” was launched. This portal will act as a bridge between the government and the people. The Chief Minister said that apart from the proper implementation of central and state government welfare projects at the village and village committee levels, various issues and grievances of the people can be raised. from village and village level to block, district and state level through this portal.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister has said that the current state government is dynamic, development-oriented and people-oriented. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Sabka Biswas and Sabka Prayaas are the motto of this government.

He said the administration is working to ensure that 100% of eligible beneficiaries benefit from the various programs of the central government and state governments under the “Prati Ghore Sushasan” campaign being implemented in the state.

He also expressed the opinion that by holding various fairs and public awareness programs, the good governance program in each house has been successful at present with the joint efforts of all.

In his speech, the Prime Minister also mentioned the role of public representatives in solving the basic problems of the people. He said the current state government is making continuous efforts to maintain peace and order. One Tripura constantly strives to build a better Tripura by uniting nations and peoples. Also, various initiatives have been taken to make Tripura drug-free.

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, the special guest of the program, said the main objective of the state government is to reach the people with various development programs of the government. The Secretariat will be linked to the Gram Panchayat through the “Amar Sarkar” portal. It therefore placed particular emphasis on the training needed to use this portal.

The deputy chief minister said the state government believes in decentralized planning. Therefore, the main objective of the government is that the plan emanates from below. He said the upgrade of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) is very important to make Gram Panchayat the voice of the people. Along with the Gram Panchayat development plan, the government has prioritized the Sustainable Development Goals. Each gram panchayat and village committee is “my government” to quickly solve the problems of the inhabitants of the region.
